For her new film “Without Blood”, Angelina Jolie has decided to hire her sons Maddox (21) and Pax (18) to work on the set. She returned to this choice for People magazine.
Without Blood is the new film directed by Angelina Jolie, with Salma Hayek and Demian Bichir, which evokes “The quest for revenge of a young girl in times of conflict in the heart of the Italian countryside” can we read on the Allociné website. To carry out the development of this feature film, the ex-wife of Brad Pitt decided to call on his two sons Maddox (21 years old) and Pax (18 years old) on the set.
They worked as an assistant director, in order to make the link between their mother, director of the film, and the rest of the team. Pax had collaborated with his mother in the past. It was on his 2017 drama film First They Killed My Father. He then filmed static shots. For this new project, he was therefore his mother’s assistant with his brother, but also responsible for taking sequences of what was happening behind the scenes.
“We work well together. When your film crew is at the top, it feels like a big family, so it was natural,” the pretty brunette told People magazine after being asked about this collaboration with their children.

Children who make her very proud, as evidenced by this video taken a few days ago in front of Spelman College, one of the largest universities in the United States, where we see her trying to hold back her tears realizing that her 17-year-old daughter Zahara will join this prestigious establishment from the start of the school year. “I’m not going to cry yet…I’m so excited” she can be heard saying as she is filmed by the vice-president of this school: Darryl Holloman.
Even more recently, she was photographed leaving a grocery store with her son Knox, who kindly carried his mother’s groceries to their car. Their complicity had then escaped no one. A pretty family which therefore seems to make the actress very happy, who is also the mother of Vivienne (14 years old and twin of Knox) and Shiloh (16 years old), in addition to Maddox (21 years old), Pax (18 years old) and Zahara (17).
