Johnny Depp made a surprising cameo at a Jeff Beck concert in England on Sunday, just days after his highly publicized defamation trial with Amber Heard. Depp joined Beck on stage to play their 2020 song collaboration “Isolation,” which is a reworking of John Lennon’s 1970 hit, according to numerous videos that have surfaced online.

Depp is suing Heard over an op-ed she published for the Washington Post in December 2018 on her experience as a victim of domestic violence. Depp alleges the op-ed lost him his job, and he wants to disprove Heard’s assertions. The suit alleges that the article “depends on the essential premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Depp allegedly abused Heard in a domestic violence situation.”

Depp has denied ever abusing Heard. The trial began on April 11 in Fairfax, Virginia, and both Heard and Depp testified in the following weeks, alleging abuse on both sides of the aisle.
