Khloe Kardashian was overwhelmed by her latest achievement. Despite being named Reality TV Star of the Year at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, she was not able to attend the ceremony on Feb. 18 to accept the award.
Instead, she took to Instagram to express her gratitude and explain that she was suffering from severe migraines, which kept her from attending the show in Santa Monica, Calif.
In a video shared on Feb. 19, she thanked her fans for their support and mentioned that winning the award for the sixth time was both surprising and humbling. khloe kardashian also reflected on her past doubts about her success, remarking, “The very first couple years I thought, ‘This has to be a fluke. People feel bad for me.'”
“Awards don’t really excite me,” she said. “They don’t really stir my emotions, but this one, coming from the public, this one holds special significance for me.” Khloe, who was also awarded Reality Show of the Year for The Kardashians with her family, expressed feeling undeserving of being singled out as the standout star of the show.Khloe kardashian admitted, “That concept is difficult for me to grasp.”
Even though none of the members of the Kardashian family attended the People’s Choice Awards last weekend, the 49th annual event featured other celebrities such as Megan Fox, Jennifer Aniston, Sydney Sweeney, and Billie Eilish on the red carpet.
