The 2022 Cannes Film Festival ended on Saturday, May 28 with a closing ceremony hosted by Virginie Efira. The gold medal was awarded to Ruben Stlund’s Triangle of Sadness / Without filter by Vincent Lindon and the members of his jury, with the gold medal going to Triangle of Sadness / Without filter by Ruben Stlund. This film is the sequel to Julia Ducournau’s Titane. The honorary award for this year was given to American actor Forest Whitaker on the first day of the festival.
The closing ceremony of Cannes broadcast for the first time on France 2 established its historic record with 3.23 million viewers for 17.24% of PDA!
