After being seized as a result of Russia’s invasion on Ukraine, Germany now has a Russian superyacht nearly twice the length of a football field.
Gulbakhor Ismailova, the sister of Russian businessman Alisher Usmanov, one of Russia’s wealthiest individuals
and a key adviser to Putin on economic matters, owns the boat.
The boat is beyond… 512 feet long, with every conceivable amenity, including an 80-foot pool and not one, but two helipads. It cost $648 million to build.
The yacht, named Dilbar, is currently being held in a shipyard in Hamburg, Germany.
The yacht is registered to a business in Malta and is flagged in the Cayman Islands… this is the standard procedure used by many of the world’s wealthiest people.
Yachts and private jets have been seized as well as other luxury toys of Russian oligarchs, but Dilbar may be the crown gem.
