Country music icon Hank Williams Jr. is mourning the loss of his longtime wife, Mary Jane Thomas…
She may have suffered a blood clot complication after undergoing a medical procedure.
A police spokesman in Jupiter, FL tells us they received a medical call at Jupiter Beach Resort and Spa around 5:00 p.m. m. Tuesday… Mary Jane was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. doesn’t look suspicious.

Mary Jane, a former Hawaiian Tropic Suntan Lotion model, has been married to Hank since 1990. The couple met in 1985 at one of his concerts in Washington State. His death is the final heartbreak for Hank and his family.

He and Mary Jane had two children together, daughter Katie Williams Dunning and son Samuel Williams. Katie tragically died in a car accident in Tennessee in 2020. Her husband Tyler Dunning was also in the vehicle but survived with serious injuries.
Sam claimed in February that his father and half-sister Holly placed him under guardianship, which began in August 2020, less than 2 months after Katie’s death.

While Hank is known for hits like “All My Rowdy Friends” and has been in the spotlight most recently for his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame last November, Mary Jane is known for being a private person.
She and Hank split in 2007 but eventually saved their marriage… fully reconciled in 2011 when they celebrated their 21st anniversary.
We have contacted a member of the Williams family who told us they would like privacy at this time.
Mary Jane is survived by Hank, Sam and 3 grandchildren.
