During Johnny Depp’s defamation trial against Amber Heard, Eva Green expressed her support for him on social media. Green and Depp co-starred in Tim Burton’s 2012 fantasy horror comedy “Dark Shadows,” which was based on the same-named television soap opera. Depp is suing Heard for $50 million in defamation after she alluded to their alleged abusive relationship in a Washington Post op-ed.

Green said on Insta, “I have no doubts Johnny will emerge with his good reputation and lovely heart disclosed to the public, and life will be better than it ever was for him and his family.” A pic of her and Johnny on the red carpet for “Dark Shadows” followed the post.

Green is one of several performers who have openly shown support for Depp during his trial in Virginia, which has been ongoing since April 11. On his podcast, comedian Bill Burr expressed his support for Depp and urged his detractors to apologize if Heard loses the defamation case. “And from What i’ve seen, the dude is fucking destroying,” Burr stated. What would be even better is if he just does uncover this woman’s deception. I’m wondering if all of these people who have just accepted her lies about him will apologize in any way.

“It’d be wonderful if they officially apologized and said, ‘Maybe next time we won’t jump to conclusions,'” Burr said, noting that individuals had “publicly insulted” Depp.

While presenting a comedy routine in London last week, Chris Rock made pro-Johnny Depp comments. The comic questioned Heard about allegedly defecating on Depp’s bed pillows, a story that has come up multiple times during the trial.

“Believe all women, except Amber Heard,” she says. “What the hell is she up to?” Heard was mentioned by Rock. “She threw up on his bed!” She’s alright, but not shitting alright. She defecated in his bed! You’re guilty of everything once you spit in someone’s bed. What the hell is going on in that place? Wow. After that, they had a romance.”The trial of Depp and Heard is anticipated to last until Memorial Day weekend.
