There is nothing worse for a mother than to hear that her child is the spitting image of her father. This is exactly what happens to Kate Middleton. The Duchess of Cambridge, however, is lucky that Prince Louis is her lookalike. An observation that relieves her and that even makes her laugh a lot.
Kate Middleton and Prince William are the proud parents of three children: George, 9, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 4. Toddlers that fans of the British Crown have seen many times during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. Finally a more precise. Indeed, Prince Louis, 4, made the show, almost stealing the show from his great-grandmother, star of the festivities. Charlotte and George’s little brother chained pouty pouts, grimaces, cries … A real show all to himself that his mother Kate Middleton was able to admire up close, sitting by his side during the various demonstrations.
The public also noticed one thing: the striking resemblance between Prince Louis and his mother. And if you ever come across Kate Middleton, don’t hesitate to tell her: “Everyone always comments on how Louis is the spitting image of Kate. She loves it and thinks it’s very nice, confided a relative of the Duchess to People. She often jokes that he is the only one of her children who actually looks like her.” It must be said that Prince George and Princess Charlotte look like two drops of water to their dad.
As proof, on July 22, for Prince George’s 9th birthday, a new portrait of the boy taken by Kate Middleton was unveiled on Instagram. The comments were unanimous: the eldest of Kate and William is the disturbing double of his dad. Same thing for the young Charlotte. If she inherited her mother’s hair (fortunately by the way), for the rest, it is William that she looks like. That Prince Louis has the same physical features as her is therefore a relief for the one whose pregnancies were not just a cakewalk.
In the very first weeks, Kate Middleton suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, violent nausea which prevented her from performing certain obligations. Bedridden, the Duchess of Cambridge did not get better until after the first trimester. However, she would not say no to a fourth child, unlike Prince William, a little more cautious at the idea of putting his nose back in diapers and short nights…
