Kanye West won’t be performing at Coachella again this year, leaving the festival with an open headliner ad…and fans without an appearance from Travis Scott.
Sources connected to Ye tell us that he has decided to end his performance at the 2weekendlong event in Indio, California, which kicks off next weekend. Also, we were told that Travis Scott was supposed to join Kanye on stage…so that’s out of the question now too.
It’s unclear exactly why Kanye is holding back, but he’s clearly had a rough few months against Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson and Trevor Noah, among others on social media.
his racist attack on Trevor got him suspended from Instagram for twenty-four hours last month … he hasn’t announce something since. Kanye’ cancelation leaves Coachella with an evident hole. Billie Eilish, Harry designs and Swedish House Mafia are still headlining … however there’ clearly an absence of diversity. Of course, Travis was purported to headline the competition back in 2020 before it had been canceled as a result of COVID. Travis was then reserved for 2022, but Coachella organizers force the plug on the concept once the tragedy at Astroworld. Fans demanded he return with a petition, to no avail. Travis has not performed in a very massive capability since.
We haven’t seen Kanye since March 27, when he attended Kim and North Saint’s soccer game.
